Growing up the only child of a Togolese father and a Jamaican mother, I frequently spent time asking my parents about how things worked - how a touchscreen knows where you're pressing, how a PlayStation puts an image on the screen.
When my parents didn't know the answer, they'd tell me to go find out. That early curiosity and permission to explore both shaped the way that I solve problems, as well as the way I design for them.
